Finding Berkeley Through the Eyes of Susan Dunlap

Mysteries are a great snapshot in time. Through the detective’s eyes, we see cultural trends, location details, and the tools that were used at the time. As part of the Berkeley Mystery coursework, I decided to explore Susan Dunlap’s Berkeley as it was in the 1980’s and as it was as described in her Jill Smith murder mysteries. I have visited landmarks featured in her four of her books and tried to see what has remained the same and what has changed.
